Welcome! My name is Noelle Lee, and I live in the Boston area. I am a Korean-American, Millennial, Christian girl (ok, a grown woman) who got her Bachelor’s at Boston University and Master’s at University of Pennsylvania. I have worked in administrative support since college.
I grew up as a computer science professor and homemaker’s daughter in Texas, Florida and Colorado. My fondest memory of high school is walking my shelter dog Penny, a Whippet mix in the lavender, green and gold foothills of Green Mountain in Lakewood, Colorado.
I never had the courage to publish or get a Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing in my 20s because growing up, I didn’t know any writers who looked like me! Now, I have discovered the quiet tradition of Korean-American literature and feel confident that I, too, can walk in these footsteps and create and contribute something meaningful.
